Guidelines To Get Into Universal Medical College:

Students must qualify for the MBBS admission test conducted by the Director General of Health Services (DGHS).

Eligible candidates need to apply in the prescribed form available from the Principal’s Office of Universal Medical College. The merit positions of all applicants will be prepared, and the top-listed candidates will be selected.

The candidate is required to complete the Secondary and Higher Secondary School Certificate (SSC and HSC) examinations or their equivalent, such as O and A levels. 

Steps To Step Into Your Dream University: 

The application for admission at Universal Medical College form can be obtained starting from August or September at the Bangladesh High Commission or Embassy in the corresponding country. 

Medical Students should indicate their preferred medical college in the application form. 

If the applicant selects UMC, they must complete the Foreign Students’ application form for UMC, which is accessible on our website. 

It is necessary to include photocopies of the passport and SSC/HSC certificates with the application to assist in tracking the application at the DGHS office.

The eligibility for admission to UMC or other medical colleges in Bangladesh will be determined by the DGHS office based on the submitted application to the Bangladesh High Commission or Embassy.

If the candidate meets the eligibility criteria, their application will be forwarded to UMC or their chosen medical colleges. 

Only after this process has been finalized will UMC issue an official admission offer letter.

There are distinct hostels for male and female students located on the campus. Each hostel includes amenities such as a dining area and a common room equipped for games and television.

HOSTEL REGULATIONS:

Students are required to adhere to the following rules and guidelines throughout their time at this Medical College.

HOSTEL HOURS:

The hostel gate will close at 10:00 PM and will reopen at 6:00 AM. All students are expected to return to the hostel by 10:00 PM. Outside of class hours, students must sign the register before leaving the hostel and are required to present a signed application from their legal guardians when they come back.
